Agrisure Viptera Approved for Import in China
Growers will now have access to an additional market.
Chinese regulatory authorities have granted import approval for the Agrisure Viptera® trait (Event MIR162). The approval covers grain and processing byproducts, such as dried distillers grains (DDGs), for food and feed use. With regulatory approval from China, growers will have access to this additional market through their local grain traders and elevators, while continuing to see the yield gains the technology delivers.
Trait stacks containing the Agrisure Viptera trait provide control of up to 16 aboveground and belowground insect pests, more than any other trait stack on the market. The industry-leading control provided by Agrisure Viptera trait stacks includes a broad spectrum of lepidopteran pests, such as corn earworm, Western bean cutworm, true armyworm and lesser cornstalk borer.
